Þetta einstaklega fína púður er notað til þess að gefa nöglunum auka styrkingu.
Þunnt lag af compact basegeli er borið á nögl og sandinum dreift yfir.
Herða þarf svo basegelið í lampa og jafnvel önnur umferð af basegeli sett yfir ef þarf. 
Eftir það er litur settur á nöglina eins og venjulega.

Hardener Sand
This extremely fine powder is used to give the nails extra strength.
A thin layer of compact base gel is applied to the nail and the sand is spread over it.
The base gel must then be hardened in a lamp and even a second layer of base gel applied over it if necessary.
After that color is applied to the nail as usual.
